Your responsibilities as a participant
When you sign the waiver, you agree to take full responsibility for any injury sustained during the championships. This means you understand and accept that you will not hold the organizers accountable for accidents or injuries that may occur. We encourage all participants to review the waiver thoroughly to ensure a complete understanding of these important terms.
Who needs to sign the waiver?
Every individual participating in the World Sport Arnis Championships must fill out and sign the waiver form. For participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the waiver on their behalf. This ensures that all competitors, regardless of age, have acknowledged and agreed to the terms of participation.

You can read a copy of the waiver form online here to familiarize yourself with its contents. However, please note that the waiver must be officially filled out and signed in person at the championships on Friday night, prior to taking part in any events. This on-site signing ensures that all details are accurate and properly recorded by the organizers.
World Sport Arnis World Championship 2026 Ireland. Release from Liability Wavier Form
Please take the time to review this wavier Form. To complete you will be required to sign a copy at Registration on 2nd October. Under 18 must have a parent or an Adult who is guardian during the championship.
- Voluntary Application: I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I (or on behalf off my child) have voluntary applied myself (or my child) to participate in the World Sport Arnis Championship in Dublin, Ireland on 2nd to 4th October 2026, hosted by Team Kali Ireland and Liam Mc Donald. The location is Firhouse Community and Leisure Club.
- Assumption of Risk: I am aware and understand that in general, competition involving Arnis, Kali, Eskrima martial arts are inherently dangerous and hazardous activities. I am voluntarily and of my own free will (or on behalf of my child) assuming all risks, of any nature, associated with this championship with full knowledge, acceptance and understanding of the hazards involved to myself or my child.
- Health Advisory and Conditions: I hereby acknowledge and understand that participating in this event involves extremely strenuous physical activity and heavy physical contact, and that I have been advise to consult a Physician before commencing and undertaking such activity. I hereby represent that, to the best of my knowledge that I (or my child) are in good physical health and condition, sufficient to undertake this dangerous and hazard competition. I agree that I will notify Championship Officials, if I am injured or become ill and not participate in the Championship if injured.
- Medical Assistance: I grant permission, in case of injury, to have medical personnel at the championships provide me (or my child) with medical assistance or treatment for such injury. This treatment will be of "First Aid" nature only and your injury may required you to seek additional medical treatment beyond that administered at the Championship.
- Photo / Video: I further consent that any pictures, videos or film furnished by me (or my child) or taken of me (or my child) in connection with this Championships, may be use by World Sport Arnis promotions or directors for publicity, promotions or advertisement via social media, television, magazines or any other manner that deem necessary. The undersigned specifically waives any intellectual property rights to those images, or videos which would be taken, during the championships, waives any and all claims, of any nature, which might arise out of the use of these images and videos by World Sport Arnis and also waives any and all compensations in regards to any images or videos.
- No Involuntary Execution: I acknowledge that I have read this Release from Liability and I fully understand the meaning and importance of it's contents. I release, in advance, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and estate, any claim against World Sport Arnis, Team Kali Ireland, Liam McDonald as well as any participant, official, referees, coaches and staff from any claim for liability of any nature arising out of my or my child participation in the championship. I further agree to to hold those entities and persons harmless and to indemnify them from and claims and agree to indemnify them, including any payment of actual attorney fees or costs of defence.
