Friday, October 2nd: registration and weapon forms
The championships kick off on Friday, October 2nd. From 6pm to 7:00pm, all teams and fighters must complete registration and sign Championship Wavier. Adult fighters may be asked to undergo weighing during this time.
Following registration, there will be an Official Welcoming to the World Sport Arnis Championships for all teams and fighters, providing a great opportunity to connect before the competition truly begins.
At 7:30pm, the highly anticipated Weapon Forms competition will commence, featuring four distinct divisions: Kids. Cadets, Adult Female, and Adult Male. Be sure to arrive early to ensure all necessary procedures are completed smoothly and to enjoy the opening events.
Saturday, October 3rd: Padded Stick Divisions
Saturday, October 3rd, is packed with thrilling padded stick action. The Venue officially opens at 9am and the Championships will begin at 9:30am
The Children Divisions will be up first, covering all three sections of their competition. Following the children, the Cadets / Teenagers Division will start.
Adults Divisions both Male and Female will then compete.
The following is sequence for each division: Single Padded Stick, Padded Knife, and Double Padded Sticks.
The first Medal Ceremony for the day is scheduled for approximately 5.30pm - 6pm celebrating the winners of the padded stick categories. The medals ceremony will start shortly after last Padded Stick Division is completed
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the huge turnout of fighters there may be slight changes in times with the completion of the Padded Division.
PLEASE BE AWARE: Due to the smooth running of the Championship. Fighters need to be ready to fight, when their name is called, failure to be ready, may result in your losing your fight by non attendance.
PLEASE BE AWARE: 3rd Place (Bronze Medal) will be awarded to the Fighter in the Semi Final who loses against, the Winner (Gold Medal) in that Division. There is no 3rd place play off !
Sunday, October 4th: Rattan Stick battles and Closing Medal Ceremony
The final day of competition, Sunday, October 4th, will feature exciting rattan stick events.
Competition will begin at 10:00am, with the Children Divisions leading the way in both Single and Double Rattan Sticks categories.
Following the children's events, Teenagers will compete in their respective Rattan Single and Rattan Double Sticks matches.
Adults Division both Male and Female will complete the day, following the same format Rattan Single and Rattan Double Sticks
The championships will conclude with the final Medal Ceremony, which will take place once all Rattan competitions have finished. The approximate time for this ceremony is 5:00pm

Gathering of the Nations Farewell Meal: Maldron Hotel. Tallaght 7.30pm. All teams and Fighters are welcome to celebrate together the Championship weekend, and new friendships, in an evening of traditional Irish Craic (an evening of happiness and fun) before we all head home.
This will be an informal evening and meal. You simply pay for your own food and drink of the menu. If you just want to come along for a drink that's also ok. An evening to form the perfect way to say goodbye.
